Customer Terms

Version 1, in effect from 12 Oct 2026

1. Who these terms are between. These Customer Terms are between WEBISCOPIC SDN. BHD., Registration No. 202301024302 (1518225-U), whose registered address is NO 110, JALAN LAPANGAN TERBANG, 31350 IPOH, PERAK, MALAYSIA, called "we", and the person who uses Legasiku to ask for work, called "you". When you give work to a company on Legasiku, your contract is with that company, not with us. Every offer, price offer and job shows the company's registered name and SSM number, and a line saying that your contract is with that company, not with Legasiku.

2. Accepting these terms, version by version. (a) You accept these terms electronically when you register on Legasiku, before you can ask for work. The sign-up page links to these terms and says that by registering you accept them. You accept them by registering yourself; nothing is ticked or accepted for you. (b) You accept one version at a time. Accepting electronically in this way is recognised by the Electronic Commerce Act 2006. We record your account, the version you accepted, and the date and time you accepted it, and that record is the evidence of your acceptance. (c) The version you accepted stays readable on Legasiku, with every other version. (d) Once your account exists and its email address is verified, you may also sign in with Google ("Continue with Google") if your Google account uses the same verified email address. Signing in with Google never creates an account.

3. No change without a new version. (a) We never change these terms for you except by a new version. (b) We publish each new version on Legasiku with its number and the day it takes effect. If a new version makes a material change, that is, a change that matters to you, we publish it before the day it takes effect. (c) When a new version is in effect, we show it to you in full, and you accept it in a step of its own, before you send a new request or accept a price offer. Until you accept it, you cannot take either of those steps, and we do not take them for you. (d) Meanwhile everything else stays open, whether or not you have accepted: requests you have already sent stay open and companies may still answer them; jobs already under way continue; and you can still confirm a job or say it is not done, make a complaint, read and download your own records, and close your account.

4. What Legasiku does, and what it does not. (a) We run the place where companies offer their work and where you ask for it. We check the companies, show your request to the companies that match, send you the acknowledgement of a job, and run the complaint channel. (b) We do not supply, fix, deliver or install what a company sells, and we never say that we do. (c) A label saying "Verified by Legasiku" comes only from a stored record of our check, with the date of that check. Anything we have not checked reads "Declared by the company, not verified". (d) We show you a company's price in full, as the company gave it. We do not round it, discount it, convert it or compare it with another price.

5. Our written service standards. For each of these functions we keep to the time stated. A working day is Monday to Friday, Malaysian time. (a) Checks. We check a company before it can sell, and repeat the checks every year and whenever a checked detail changes. When someone reports that something a company said is false, we put the report under review within 2 working days and decide on it within 10 working days. (b) Matching. We show your request to the companies that match it as soon as you send it, and in any case within 1 working day. (c) Acknowledgements. When you give the work to a company, we send you the acknowledgement, in your inbox on Legasiku and to your verified email, as soon as you give the work, and in any case within 1 working day. It carries the company's registered name, SSM number, address, email and phone, and the name of the person it acts for where it acts for someone. (d) Complaints. We confirm that we received your complaint as soon as you send it, and in any case within 2 working days. We decide on your complaint, and send you our decision, within 10 working days. A complaint about safety, a health claim, prohibited goods, halal or electrical goods is urgent. We look at an urgent complaint within 1 working day and decide on it within 3 working days.

6. Your duties. (a) You give true details and keep them true. We need a verified email or phone before you can give work to a company. (b) You confirm that you are 18 or older. You make this statement yourself when you register, by ticking the box "I am 18 or over". We never knowingly deal with a person under 18. If we find that an account belongs to someone under 18, we close the account and delete its data, except what the law requires us to keep. (c) You use Legasiku only for the purposes it is for. You do not use it to harm a company or another customer.

7. Acting for an organisation. (a) If you use Legasiku for an organisation, the organisation is the customer and you act as its agent. The contract for the job is between the organisation and the company. (b) You confirm that you have the authority to act for the organisation. If you do not have it, you are responsible yourself for what you did in the organisation's name, to the extent the law allows. We may ask you for reasonable evidence of your authority at any time. (c) The acknowledgement names the organisation as the customer and you as the person who acts for it.

8. Your details, and your consent as a separate step. (a) When you give work to a company, we share your details with that company only after a separate step in which you agree. That agreement is its own record and is never part of accepting these terms. (b) Our privacy notice says who is responsible for your data, what we keep, and who receives it. It is a separate text, and it names the person who looks after data protection.

9. What confirming a job means. (a) You confirm only what you can see: "received" for goods, "installed" for goods that are installed, and "done" for services. (b) Confirming does not change any right you have. No one may ask you to give up a right when you confirm. (c) The Default Supplier Terms that come with each offer say more about confirming.

10. Our liability to you. (a) Legasiku connects you with companies. Each company is responsible for its own goods and services, and for what it promises you. We are responsible for our own service, and for harm caused by our own breach of these terms or by our failure to take reasonable care. (b) We do not exclude or limit our liability to you for harm caused by our failure to take reasonable care. (c) Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right or liability that the Consumer Protection Act 1999, including its rules on unfair terms in sections 24A to 24J, or any other law does not allow to be excluded or limited. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. (d) We are not responsible for loss that could not reasonably have been foreseen as a result of our breach or failure, such as remote or indirect loss. This is how the law already measures loss, and it does not reduce paragraph (b) or (c). (e) Nothing in these terms takes away or reduces a right the law gives you.

11. Complaints, and where else you may go. (a) You may complain to Legasiku about any job. You can also report that something a company has said is false or misleading. (b) The complaint channel stays open for as long as the record of the job exists, including after you confirm, after a job is closed without your confirmation, and after the company leaves. (c) Our text on where else you may take a complaint is the same wherever you see it. You may use any of those places, at any time, whether or not you have complained to us.

12. Your right to go to a court or the Tribunal. (a) Nothing in these terms requires you to use any other process before, or instead of, going to a court or to the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia for claims within its jurisdiction. Nothing in these terms stops you from doing so. (b) These terms set no time limit of their own on a claim. The time the law gives you is the time you have.

13. Closing your account. (a) You may close your account at any time, in your account settings. (b) When you close it, we remove at once your name, email address, password, two-step sign-in and choice of language, sign you out everywhere, and delete any photo you added, so the account can no longer be opened, with Google or in any other way. (c) We keep only the records the law requires us to keep, each for its own time. The record of each version of these terms and of the privacy notice that you accepted, and when you accepted it, is kept for 7 years. The records of your requests, price offers, jobs, acknowledgements, confirmations and complaints are kept for 6 years after they close. The details you agreed to share with a company for a job stay in the record of that job. These records stay linked to the closed account, which no longer holds your name or email address. When its time ends, a record is deleted, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. (d) The complaint channel stays open for a job's record as clause 11 says.

14. Language, law and contact. These terms are published in English and Bahasa Melayu. Both texts carry equal weight; if they differ, the meaning more favourable to you applies. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The courts of Malaysia may hear a dispute about them, including the High Court in Sabah and Sarawak if you live in Sabah or Sarawak. Nothing in these terms removes your right to go to the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia. For support, and for any notice under these terms, contact us at webiscopic.com@gmail.com.
